Small Brush Fire Stopped Outside Solvang

Firefighters stopped the forward progress of a small grass fire near Solvang on Sunday.

At 12:38 p.m. Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the “Prado Incident” near Fredensborg Canyon and Del Prado.

Crews discovered a half-acre vegetation fire in mostly grass, according to the County Fire Department.

As of Sunday afternoon the forward progess stopped. 

There were no structures threatened, no road closures or injuries.

The cuase is under investigation.
