At 0044 hours Santa Maria Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of West El Camino. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was transported to Marian Hospital and is currently listed in critical condition. This incident is believed to be gang related. This shooting is being investigated as an Attempted Homicide.
