A Monday afternoon shooting in Santa Maria has left one person hospitalized.
The Santa Maria Fire Department responded with an ambulance and Santa Maria Police to the 600 block of North Palisade around 3:20 p.m. for a reported shooting.
A single victim was treated at the scene and transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via CalStar helicopter for life-threatening injuries.
