Over 2,800 cannabis plants were seized by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office near Santa Maria after a months-long investigation.
Deputies served search warrants at residences within the city limits and unincorporated areas of Santa Maria, Nipomo, and unincorporated Arroyo Grande. The warrants were connected to an investigation into an illegal unlicensed cannabis cultivation operation in the area of Morning Hill and Dominion Road in Santa Maria.
An operational butane honey lab was also located and seized during the investigation.
No arrests were made and criminal complaints have been forwarded to the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office.
Not one iota of sympathy from me on this bust. They cheat & don’t play by the rules; they get busted. Also, the butane honey lab doesn’t help things for these thugs.
