Sheriff Pursuit

By Bob on the Scanner

Some type of pursuit happening with Sheriff’s Deputies following a vehicle with multiple occupants in the Santa Ynez Valley.

Vehicle stopped and occupants fled in the area of Alamo Pintado and Gaviota Street.

Unsure what’s happening, chime in if you know.

  1. Original want was possible DUI, pursuit started by CHP, then they broke off in Buellton and Sheriff picked it up. Speeds up to 100, finally slow-speed crash and foot-bail. Airsupport used FLIR to locate suspects, at least 4 of which were detained, one with a possible broken clavicle. One female, possibly the driver, evaded the initial search, but I believe was located later on 246.
