Around 3:00 p.m., there were two very loud pops (not the firework noise as of late) around the Portesuello/Modoc area. Now a Sherriff’s helicopter just flew over, low. Anyone have any info? Scanner chatter?

There was a sheriff helicopter at around 3:30 PM that landed at SBCH, not sure why but it’s unrelated to the pops you heard. Guess it was just a coincidence.
May be a coincidence, but the sheriff helicopter may have been up north for the PG&E power shut off drill. Maybe flying back “home.” I notice on Flightradar24 they were in Santa Ynez earlier
We heard it fly over around that time—-near top of Olive St.
