Seven Year Old Dies in Lompoc Car Collision

Crime/Offense : Fatal Traffic Collision  

Summary :

On 10/12/20, at approximately 1859 hours, LPD Officers responded to a traffic collision in the 100 block of West Pine Ave. Upon arrival Officers located the vehicle involved in the collision had struck a 7 year old child. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. Medics rendered medical aid to the child while on scene. The child was transported the Lompoc Valley Medical Center Emergency Room, where medical staff continued to provide lifesaving aid to the child. The child ultimately succumbed to his injuries and unfortunately passed away. This is an ongoing traffic investigation.
