Serial Robber Arrested at Denny’s

SBPD Apprehend Suspect Involved in Numerous Robberies

Today at approximately 10:50 A.M., Santa Barbara Police Detectives apprehended Eric Giovanni Arevalo, age 21, a Santa Barbara resident.  Arevalo is suspected of committing numerous convenience store robberies and attempted robberies across the region over the last year. 
 
His modus operandi included masking his face and hands with items of clothing, alluding to a weapon and demanding cash.
 
The investigation remains fluid and ongoing. Several regional enforcement agencies are participating in the investigation in the hope of solving other crimes within their jurisdiction.

SBPD is on a Felony Stop in the Dennys Parking Lot in the 3600 Block of State Street. Units responding Code 3 for a possibly armed suspect.
