Ever have one of those So Called Friends? You know the kind, borrows money never pays you back? Asks for more? Or rips you off? Steals your car? Or even worse physically or mentally abuses you or loved ones? Pulls a weapon on you even worse uses it? I hear all kinds of calls on the scanner many times people are victimized by so-called friends. If I had all of the money and items stolen from me by so-called friends and loved ones in my life I would have enjoyed more of a comfortable living, I might even be wealthy. If I consider what my own family did to me, Step-Father and Mother though now she says “He did it, it was his idea.” He has been gone since 1989. I believe her though she went along with it, what parent would allow a person to victimize their own kid? It sure did not help the self-esteem. Then again that was Identity theft. I’m pretty sure that sort of thing happens in alot of families. I have been used by so called friends also and let it happen because at the time I did not feel good about myself. There have been many incidents through the years, most of the incidents could have been prevented had I not been so trusting or naive. In most cases, I never filed a police report because I thought the incidents to be my fault, why involve the police in my stupidity? I did not want to send someone else to jail even though they were a scum sucking thief. Some of my experiences include my step dad stealing my baseball card collection: 12 Full sets Topps 1965-1972 he told me he got 5,000.00 for the collection, I got nothing. They were worth far more than 5 Grand but even that would have come in handy in my life, I coulda put a down payment on a house in Bakersfield for crying out loud! I took in a woman once, we were just friends I had 1,800.00 stashed in my apartment in case of Emergencies she disappeared with the cash. I took in many people actually out of all of them 4 did not screw me over. I’m very grateful that those 4 people were in my life I miss the heck out of them too. 2 are gone I know of one was older he might be gone too, one was younger he might still be around somewhere. I guess that was why I hardly ever turned down taking others in because I was always looking for True Blue Friends. I did find a couple none of them are in my life now but that usually happens with age. I hear these calls all the time if I include Domestic incidents I hear those at least a dozen times a day mostly I’m referring to straight out theft incidents loaning money, or someone stealing your car, wallet, identity, can anyone relate to this? - Check the Welfare of reporting partys Son not heard from in ten days 1200 Block of Villa Ave.

- 415 Over a non injury accident in the underground parking at Paseo Nuevo 800 Block of Chapala.
- Med call Fall victim in the 1100 Block of North Milpas.
- Injury accident Milpas and Haley.
- 242 Assault at Paseo Nuevo victim standing by with security near Footlocker.
- GREGORY IN THE WHEELCHAIR CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR HIMSELF CALL IN FROM HALEY STREET. I KNOW GREG MANY DO USED TO LET HIM CRASH IN MY CAR HAD TO JUNK IT AFTER GREG NEEDS TO GO SOMEWHERE AND BE TAKEN CARE OF.

- 415 Domestic and Assault shoved by Brothers girlfriend 4200 Block of Green Tree Lane.
- Homeless female lighting a trash can on fire in the 3800 Block of State street.
- 415 Domestic 300 Block of Lloyd Ave.
- Code 60 vehicle blocking 1000 Block of Canon Perdido.
- 415 Domestic 1300 Block of Punta Gorda in a vacant house with a For Sale sign out front.
Scanner Reports, Thursday:
- Structure Fire response for a gas leak at Cabrillo High School.
- Suspicious vehicle on Lilac Drive possibly casing a small dark 2-door sedan registered to an address in Oxnard 700 Block of Lillac.
- Subject sitting in a car possible holding a gun gone by the time police arrived in the 4200 Block of Calle Real. As soon as the call went out both SBPD and SBSO responded vehicle reported to be a grey Nissan or Toyota it was 2nd hand info the call was not made by a direct witness so it’s not the fault of the police the guy was gone when they got there.
- 415 Domestic 1900 Block of Ironwood father was on the phone with his daughter when she told her father she had been choked and had thrown up and that was pretty much all I heard n more just the names of the male and female involved. After just hearing that I’m concerned I hope the young gal is OK and out of there.

- 415 Over a non injury traffic accident at Lazy Acres on Meigs Road.
- 415 Road Rage aggressor followed in a green Lexus SUV to the Lexus Dealership on Hitchcock
- Vehicle vs Bicyclist Calle Real at Calle Corollas injury accident.
- 415 Subject in a wheelchair littering and yelling at passerbys Cliff at Meigs male.
- Trash Can fire in the State street Underpass.
- Check the welfare of a customer at CVS 222 West Carrillo with possible mental issues.
- 1145 Suicidal subject at county clinic told staff he wanted to blow his brains out at city hall did not say which one.
- Wanted probationer in the area of Carrillo and Castillo heading East on Carrillo on foot.
- Smoke coming from a building structure fire response 400 Block of Alisel.
- 242 Assault 4700 Block of Via Lotto a 10-Year-old assaulted staff at a school and they want to press charges.

- 242 Woman in a wheelchair assaulted overnight 1020 Chapala Unknown what type of assault.
- Suspicious subject smoking weed in a vehicle 1200 Block of Shoreline.
