Scanner Reports 5-26-17

My birthday was weird. They usually are now that I’m alone, though I am a loner and have been most of my life. Little things make my day, the road becomes narrow as I age. My little Fish Head has not been well, but on my birthday he swam up to the surface of his tank, stared at me for a moment and left a bubble. Whenever I feed him, he leaves bubbles as if he is paying for his meal. There are two aquariums side by side now; one for big Fish Head, the other for little Fish Head. They are both Japanese fighting fish, but they don’t get angry at each other. Fish Head Sr. watches Fish Head junior swim around as if he is his father. There is no hostility between them; they live in harmony, though it might be different if they were in the same tank. I Bbq’d some chicken legs and they came out really good which is a miracle; my BBQ usually flops. It was a quiet day with weird feelings. Most of my birthdays are.
