On MONday I was walking to the store to get some things, there was a drunk guy passed out on the Milpas side of Crown Liquor and I could smell the guy from 40 feet away. It was really bad, guess he was left over from Saint Patrick’s day. On the way back I actually counted my paces to the subject who was covered up, it was 38 steps which is a little more than 40 feet. I thought he was dead till I saw him move a little, it made me ill the odor was so bad. And some people bitch about the sweet odor of WEED, Ha.

Over the weekend I heard a call of subjects in the first block of North Milpas street at an address. I passed that address on MONday noticed there had been a yard sale that was not cleaned up, there was a No Trespassing sign on the front of the house which tells me it’s empty and a potential site for squatters who will more than likely take it over unless someone watches it like a hawk or moves someone in. It’s a big place with a side yard, I never really noticed how big the place was till MONday. I got a pretty good look at it from the street. A few years back there were 2 properties taken over in the next block, I remember how tore up and dirty they were one had a commode in the back of it filled with crap and dirty needles. Major Gross for Santa Barbara, it’s up to the property owners to take care of these properties if they are empty, put a big fence around them hire security to patrol the property until it’s rented out otherwise be prepared for squatters because it’s going to happen.

I went out and got a few things today for the next couple days: water, gum, was thinking it would have been nice to get a couple sandbags because once in a while it gets wet in the entryway of my door but I have a bunch of empty gallon water jugs around here I can just fill them up and put them on a towel that will help. Will everyone stay Dry and Safe I’m at Milpas and 101 on the South side there we have a history of staying pretty dry here except for water on the property or in your entryway hopefully everything will be A-OK…Gentle Jim’s vehicle was stolen SUNday evening we figured…….
