How low we have sunk on Edhat is not my fault, don’t even lay your Mental Head Games my way. I take no responsibility for the HATE that has been spewed by the public through online comments. If you thought I was going to change into some pure white butterfly flapping my Angelic wings across the pages of Edhat you were WRONG! I’m not a Saint! The people who spew their hate across this great country of ours upon Folks who are compassionate and have feelings THINK they are Perfect Little Saints. I am not one of those. I will not be put into some little mold with short hair, wearing a red blazer with some stupid colorful patch over the left pocket. Sometimes strong words are needed to show people where you stand and to get your point across. For the 355, 857th MILLIONTH Time, I am SNOT a professional Journalist, nor am I a Police Officer, former Police Officer, or expert on Law Enforcement. I am who I yam, and that is who I yam, you can choose to accept me or not, if you don’t like what I say don’t read it. If you feel like you have to read it and you HATE it but don’t feel as if you have control over your own actions then seek Therapy, it worked for me, some of the medication is pretty good too. I have been here 8 and a HALF years and No One has changed me yet. As far as the newer website goes, it took some getting used to but I kinda like it, CHANGE is HARD for SOME people but CHANGE is GOOD. Shiver my Timbers it was COLDER than a Right Wingers HEART over Night! I woke up around 4am as Old Geezers do to make my Way to the Powder Room and I froze my old Rump Off. Hopefully it will warm up again someday when it does maybe people will be more ACCEPTING of all the DIFFERENT People there are in this WORLD though I doubt it.

- Subject yelling and beating a car 500 Block of East Cota.
- Fall victim Medical call Oak Cottages 1800 Block of DLV.
- Medical, for an Unresponsive subject in the 200 Block of South Milpas.
- Suspicious subject outside RaboBank on Highway 246, wearing a beanie has a beard WMA.
- Domestic call, male beat up a female in front of their kid then left Northbound in a Chevy Malibu.
- Overdose on Camino De Vida.
- Unknown type of disturbance, male said he had a gun, none seen. He was last seen walking South on State street, police got him in the 1200 Block unknown if he had a gun.
- Bicyclist Down 1113 East Cota on the Mountain side of Milpas.
- Petty Theft investigation on West Padre.
- Code 40 Drunk down in the shrubs between Carls Junior and the Eyeglass Factory. They don’t even try to hide anymore, saw a guy the other day in his 50’s in the first block of North Milpas stretched out across the sidewalk Drunk but looked like he was drying out.
- Subject screaming inside of Speedy Mart 826 North Milpas.
- Domestic Violence 500 Block of East Canon Perdido Female and Male Assaulted each other she refused medical treatment, and refused to press charges so he did and she went to jail. A few hours later her daughter 13 years old came home and I have no idea what happened to her but it did not sound good.
- Vehicle into a building non injury 1400 Block of State street.
- Suspicious subject 1200 Block of Portsuello.
- Non injury hit and run investigation First block of East Arrellaga.
- Sexual Assault investigation SBPD.
- 900 Block of BrookTree in Montecito structure fire.
- Homeless subject freaking out 850 Linden in Carpinteria near Smart and Final possible NBD.
- Check the Welfare of 2 males down part way into the roadway 900 Block of East Canon Perdido.
- Some guy told a clerk in Rite Aide that he had been shot on TUESday then left the store Police looked around for him but were Unable to Locate last seen Northbound on State street.
- Medical call 1200 Block of North Ontare.
- Suspicious Subject on a bicycle Sycamore Canyon Road and Ashley I think he told someone he had a gun too they were looking for him awhile unknown if he was found.
- 700 Block of Shoreline, code 20002 Investigation.
- Illegal Burn 1200 Block of Shoreline involving a BBQ.

- Reckless Road Rager in a grey Nissan on Garden street from the 101, license plate is 7HFV???
- Suicidal Subject Carpinteria Ave at the Carpinteria Library.
- Suicidal subject 1000 Block of Cliff Drive.
- Trespassing female 500 Block of East Gutierrez near the Ballet studio.
- Non injury hit and run in a grey Porsche registered to the 1600 Block of Anacapa street.-
- Burglary on El Sueno residence.
- 7300 Block of Grasso Road Medical call for a fall victim.
- Code 2 Medic’s 5150 Self Admit, Suicidal Carpinteria Library.
- Injury traffic accident Constance at State street Vehicle vs Bicyclist, injury accident.
- Corn Vendor call at Mason and Voluntario Gone on Arrival.
- Burglary to a vehicle 1100 Block of San Andres.
- SBPD attempting to locate a subject North curb line 800 Block of Shoreline.
- Premise check Our Lady of Sorrows.
- Loose Horses highway 154 at Roblar.
- Premise check 11 West Figueroa.
- Homeless at 7 Ashley Ave using a hose from the business to spray a vehicle they have to make money somehow jus sayin.
- Vandalism in the 600 Block of East Montecito.
I saw this statement on Facebook earlier, I guess a lot of people are saying that if God was in our schools there would not be any school shootings, I saw this: “School Shootings wouldn’t happen if God were allowed in School.” Someone added another statement: “Does God keep pedophilia out of Church tho?” Saw this on a Tee shirt, “I may be wrong but it’s Highly Unlikely.” I like that. I used to think I was always wrong, a product of Low Self Esteem. I feel better about myself now, I feel good enough about myself to wear that shirt even though I know I’m not always right. I don’t hate myself so much anymore. I don’t have to there are others out there to do it for me. I really don’t mind, my grand parents used to have all these different folks over they would play cards get drunk and talk crap about each other it was great…I snuck a lot of drinks from those idiots…

Santa Barbara is hanging on by its collective teeth after the recent fire and mudslide disasters, Highway 101 traffic is buggered up beyond all recognition, and our troubled yoots are using social media to terrorize area schools, and someone calls in a complaint against a “fricking CORN VENDOR??? Now I can truly say that I have heard everything. Maybe the reporting parties are the “concerned citizens” who are fighting a marijuana dispensary in that same lower Milpas area.
When someone calls the police have to respond if it’s a weird call they check on the person they have to check that is a muni code violation anyway no business license sort of thing I agree with you though…Those guys fighting the pot dispensary if I owned that place put all that money into it only to have a bunch of bullys come down on me like that I’d sue them and the city…Green Well got screwed like that Santa Barbara is NOT nice to pot dispensaries Funny thing most crime is caused by drunks..Santa Barbara loves it’s Liquor maybe that is one of the reasons. Everyone stays employed Tourism and drunks goes hand in hand next time you see a corn vendor give him a buck! Thank you for the comments…:)

Right on Roger. You have identified much of the hypocrisy out there. It is hard to ignore the haters and holier than thous, but in a republic with a long list of freedoms, we all get to express our ignorance once in a while. That doesn’t mean you are wrong.

I don’t get it. Most people must be pretty thin skinned. I expect a lot of chaff in an anonymous public forum. But the experience here is worth it.

I have finally discovered I could say it in the scanner reports without being voted down…I could talk smack like the haters without being voted down and it’s one thing for that kind of crap it’s another entirely when you get followed around town. Or when some drunk driver drives along side you cussing you out but those things have not happened for some time I kinda miss them..I have to say what I think because I aien’t changing for anyone…This gets voted down but you can’t vote the scanner reports down. As far as thin skin goes Bring it.

For heavens sake, Roger, I can’t even imagine why anyone would find anything you say offensive. I really enjoy Edhat and you are the very best part. You make a wonderful philosopher, always have interesting/knowlegable statements about people and events. Keep up the good work. Some people are bullies, pay them no attention.
