On 2/04/18 SMPD officers responded to 1024 Larabee Dr. at approximately 0209 hours to a report of shots fired in the apartment complex. Witnesses reported seeing several subjects run into an apartment, which was searched by police and the occupants detained. Several shell casings were located in the grass outside of the apartment, but the firearm is still outstanding.
There were no victims or suspects identified and there was no report of property damage as a result of the shooting. The incident was associated with a party in the apartment complex and does not appear to be gang related.
