Approximately two weeks ago, the Santa Maria Police Department began its Naloxone program. This is a medication utilized to revive people in the event of a fentanyl or opioid overdose. In this instance, the Naloxone was received by the officer the day prior.
I hope people in he future avoid this stuff. Pharma could change the chemistry in some way. Maybe a time release with the antidote built-in, due to a physiological chemical response in the blood such as a “red Flag” of lack of Oxigen to the brain. hmmmm! It Could be possible……..

How is it that SM just began a Nalaxone program 2 weeks ago when this drug is widely available and has been around for many years? Curious how many overdose deaths have occurred there compared to other cities? Or if it’s so overhyped now that those people may have recovered anyway?
