Santa Maria Police Arrest Robbery Suspect Accused of Assaulting Juveniles

On January 30, 2024, at approximately 0811 hours, the Santa Maria Police Department responded to the area of 800 E. Orange to a report of two juveniles who were physically assaulted and robbed of property by a subject later identified as Patrick Hubbard.

When officers arrived, Hubbard refused to exit his residence for over an hour.

Officers were eventually able to take Hubbard into custody and booked into the Santa Maria Jail for some of the following charges: PC 211- Robbery, PC 273A(A)- Child abuse, PC 653X(a)- Misuse of 911 emergency line, PC 148(a)(1)- Resisting/ obstructing/delaying arrest.
