Santa Maria Police and FBI Arrest Narcotics Suspect

On October 30, 2019, Paul Bendele Jr, 58 years from Orcutt was arrested for sales and transportation of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of ammunition and probation violation. 

As part of a narcotics investigation and subsequent search warrant on the 1300 block of Via Santa Maria, SMPD Special Enforcement Team recovered several bindles of heroin packaged for sale totaling approximately 73 grams. Also located were scales, packaging and other evidence of drug sales along with several rounds of ammunition at the residence. 

Bendele was booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail on the above mentioned charges.
