Forbes placed Santa Barbara’s 93108 zip code on America’s 25 most expensive zip code list after comparing median home prices from over 28,500 areas in the U.S. After almost a decade of increasing demand for high-end homes, it seems like there is finally a slowdown. Silicon Valley, for instance, was just a year ago characterized by eight-figure list prices and off-the-bat purchases.

Santa Barbara just barely made the list at number 25. Good for us? The median price of Santa Barbara homes in 93108 was estimated to be $4,597,545. And what’s the price of the featured home pictured above? Just a cool $4,699,000.

Ten of the zip codes on the list are in New York, the most notable of which is 10075, New York, New York, with a median price of $7,219,637.
