The Santa Barbara Unified School District (SBUSD) is considering cuts to the music programs at La Colina, SBJHS, SBHS & San Marcos. GV and DP would likely be next.

It’s about time some administration salaries were cut.
So called Social Justice programs are replacing well established and
reward winning Music and Art programs in the Santa Barbara Unified
School District.
Numerous studies have shown that taking music and art helps kids do better in life. Just cut all the study time for testing instead.
