An RV caught fire on Highway 101 northbound near Los Alamos early Monday morning.
At 1:10 a.m., Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to the scene, just north of SR-154. Fire crews found a fully involved recreational vehicle (RV) on fire that spread to nearby vegetation. Both fires were quickly extinguished by fire crews, said Captain Dave Zaniboni.
Two people were inside of the RV at the time of the fire, but were outside the vehicle and uninjured at the time crews arrived.
It’s unknown what caused the fire.
The northbound lanes were shut down for a short amount of time this morning but are now open.
