A panga boat washed up along the South Coast last week prompting actor and resident Rob Lowe to snap a picture.
Lowe posted the photo on September 6th with the caption, “Unreal. This drug smuggling boat landed on our beach in the middle of the night. Happy Labor Day!”
The location was not specified but it appears to be east of Fernald Point in Montecito, as pointed out by an edhat reader.
It’s also unclear if this specific boat was transporting drugs or involved in illegal activity but these types of boats are known to land along the Central Coast.
Lowe, known for acting roles in The West Wing and Parks & Recreation, has been a longtime resident of Montecito.
He’s still hot as ever!
He is!!
Like how he said “our beach”. If there weren’t a big coke market in the US (CA, heck Montecito) then this wouldn’t happen, Rob.
Sans motors, I heard these panga boats become repurposed to Disneyland’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” ride…….or “It’s A Small, Small World” attraction….
Lol! How apropos! Raw Blow posing with a panga boat! Wonder where the bounty went? Only the nose knows where the blow goes after the pose. Just kidding of course!
Haha. Good ones 😉
It’s funny that someone got so triggered that I made a joke about it, as if I was somehow defaming a guy who literally made a pile of money from an autobiography which prominently included him talking about his addictions. It’s public knowledge, BFD.
Not only are the drugs here but now smugglers are running around our town.great
