Road Closures: Highway 101, 154, and More

A section of Highway 101, 154, and other roads are closed due to flooding and storm impacts.

The California Highway Patrol recommends not driving today if at all possible. See the current closures below:

HIGHWAY 101

• Highway 101 northbound is closed at Winchester Canyon due to a debris flow north of that location.

• Highway 101 southbound at Milpas Road.

• Old Coast Highway at Highway 101

• Highway 101 northbound closed at SR-33 through Santa Claus Lane. 

• Highway 101 northbound offramps and onramps closed intermittently throughout Summerland and Montecito

SR-154

• SR-154 is closed at SR-246 and SR-192 (Cathedral Oaks/Foothill) due to multiple rock slides. 

• Paradise Road at SR-154 is flooded.

• Gibraltar Road has been closed due to overflow and debris

• Kinevan Road from West Camino Cielo to Stagecoach Rd due to major flooding 

• Stagecoach from Paradise to HWY 154

• N San Marcos Rd from Cathedral Oaks Rd to HWY 154

• Painted Cave from HWY 154 to E Camino Cielo

• E Camino Cielo from HWY 154 to Gibraltar

• Figueroa Mountain Rd is closed at 6.5 Mile post North from HWY 154

Montecito

• 1500 block of E. Mountain Drive – Traffic Hazard

• SR-192 at Westmont Road

• E Mountain Dr from City limits to Coyote Rd

• US 101 Southbound at Milpas St

• Olive Mill Rd from Coast Village to Hot Springs Rd

Carpinteria/Summerland

• Padaro Lane at Beach Club Road

• Northbound #hwy101 Padaro offramp in #Carpinteria is closed as our crews work to get more capacity in an existing ditch.

  

Santa Barbara

• Mission Creek at E. Cota Street

• Ortega at Bath Street

• Gibraltar Road

• Barker Pass Road closed from SR 192 to Salinas Street roundabout due to flooding. Please don’t drive today if at all possible.

• 

GAVIOTA

• Hollister Ranch Road

• Refugio Road

GOLETA

• Robin Hill Road north of Hollister Avenue is currently closed due to flooding.

• Whittier Road west of Storke Road was closed due to flooding. This roadway may continue to be problematic as rain continues.

• Sngle lane of Cathedral Oaks Road west of Cambridge Road due to a small slide. Goleta Public Works will continue to monitor that segment of Cathedral Oaks Road.

• Old Coast HWY closed at 101 Top and bottom, and County City Limits at Solvang

• Refugio Rd 2.8 miles south of HWY 246

• Santa Rosa Rd from HWY 1 to Ave of the Flags

• Roblar and Baseline are closed due to roadway flooding

Santa Maria/Orcutt

• Foxen Canyon Rd from Dominion Rd to Santa Maria Mesa Rd

• Stowell Rd from Nicholson Ave to Philbric Rd

• Rosemary Road from Betteravia Road to Jones Road

• Black Road from Mahoney Rd to Betteravia Road

• Telephone Rd from Clark Ave to Betteravia Rd

• Woodmere Road from Maritime Road to Ivory Drive

• Ivory Drive from Corsica Drive to Harmony Lane

• Kenneth Ave from Oak Knolls Rd to Via Santa Maria

• Dickinson St from Harmony Ln to Kenneth Ave

• Harmony Ln from Ivory Dr to Dickinson St

• Orcutt-Garey Rd has been closed from Dominion Rd to Foxen Cyn Rd

• Foxen Canyon Road from Zaca Station to Foxen Canyon Landfill

• Foxen Canyon Rd. from Alisos Canyon Rd to Tepusquet Rd

• Valley Dr from Woodmere to Via Santa Maria

• Via Santa Maria from Boardwalk Lane to Shady Glen Dr

• Bonita School Rd from 166 to Division

• Tepusquet Rd. from Santa Maria Mesa Rd to 166

• Palmer Rd. to US 101

• Cat Canyon Rd. to US 101

Lompoc

• San Miguelito Canyon Rd at Imery Plant

• Harris Grade from HWY 135 to Rucker Rd

• San Antonio Rd from HWY 135 to HWY 1
