The county of Santa Barbara is currently experiencing Red Flag conditions. Predicted gusty north winds peaking at 35 to 45 miles per hour, and very low humidity ranging from 5–15 percent bring critical fire weather conditions to the area through to Saturday at 10:00 AM. If fire ignition occurs, the potential for rapid-fire spread and extreme fire behavior is very likely, causing imminent threat to life and property.
The Montecito Fire Department has increased staffing for this event to prepare – are you prepared?
