Quarter-Acre Brush Fire Contained in Lompoc

Santa Barbara County firefighters contained 1/4 acre brush fire in Lompoc on Tuesday.

At 2:09 p.m., crews responded to the area near the intersection of Via Orilla and Rucker Road.

Firefighters were able to halt the fire’s forward progress within ten minutes of arrival.

There were no structures threatened and no reported injuries.

The cause of this fire is under investigation.
