Our flight in Monday’s clear air brought some good news at Casa de Maria, with hope for the pool & cafeteria. Other flood fix progress included the San Ysidro Ranch area, Olive Mill at Hot Springs with signs of mud removal in the oak grove downstream, and the neighborhood next to Coast Village. Low water in the Bird Refuge brings hope that the coming rain will make the peninsula back into an island. The fences are down at SBCC’s new building and final work seems to be going on inside. Last up is an especially beautiful view of UC & IV.
