Pride at the Beach This Saturday!

By the Pacific Pride Foundation

Get ready for the Pacific Pride Festival on Saturday, August 26! This year’s all-day Pride at the Beach event will bring you another joy-filled festival focused on Belonging and Access.

As always, Pride is free and open to all ages and will feature Spanish language interpretation and ASL translation. With safety as a top priority this year, festival grounds will feature on-site security as well as safe spaces for folx to enjoy themselves in areas dedicated to Arts, Outdoors, Health, Spirituality, Social Justice, and more!

This year’s Pacific Pride Festival will be packed with experiences for everyone!

  • Entertainment all day featuring headliner Calypso Jeté Balmain, a talented Queen who slayed the stages on season 1 of HBO Max’s Legendary and left us wanting more.

  • Celebration of music will continue on the main stage with The Vivian Storm Experience, Brunch Divas, Santa Barbara Gay Men’s Chorus, Kao Wonder, Miriam Dance, Nicole Sophia, DJ Darla Bea and more! Plenty of fun to keep your fans clacking all day!

  • Stop by the Health Hub to receive Mpox vaccinations, PrEP navigation, Narcan, and fentanyl testing strips. You can also find out more about our free/low cost mental health services which are now available in both Spanish and English!

  • Visit the Justice Action Center to learn more from social and environmental orgs about how you can get involved in your community.

  • Family friendly activities will feature a bounce house, face painting, games, crafts and more for the little ones! Fur babies are also welcome although they must be on a leash at all times.

  • Sparkletown is a NEW addition this year. This sober space features a mechanical bull as well as a silent disco where you can dance to music on wireless headphones!

  • Back by popular demand is the Beer & Wine Garden available for those who wish to enjoy an alcoholic beverage while they celebrate. As a special treat, Heart N Soul Mixology will be preparing and serving wine and champagne-based cocktails.

  • There will be Food Trucks galore! We’ll have 11 local and regional food trucks on hand (with vegan options) to feed your hunger and quench your thirst.
