Two powerhouse prequels are dominating streaming charts this week, “Rings of Power” and “House of the Dragon.”
I’ve talked about these two shows before so here’s a quick reminder. “Rings of Power” takes us back to Middle Earth and is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings,” “House of the Dragon” takes place about 200 years before “Game of Thrones” begins and sets up the Targaryen civil war.
“House of the Dragon” drops to #2 during its fifth consecutive week on the Top 10. “The Rings of Power” ranks #1 during its third consecutive week.
According to Reelgood, titles breaking onto the Top 10 for the first time this week include Do Revenge, Goodnight Mommy, The Handmaid’s Tale, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

What I’m Watching: “House of the Dragon.” I couldn’t stay away for long. So far it lives up to the hype and has all the feels, chaos, blood, and drama that “Game of Thrones” did.
