Possible Panga Boat at Dos Pueblos Ranch

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Possible panga boat with up to 10 people on board landed on the beach below Dos Pueblos Ranch. Helicopter 1 was following, reporting several off the boat onto ranch property into a drainage ditch. It’s my guess it’s a Panga Boat but am not sure. SB Sheriff’s Deputies are responding to the area.

  1. So your solution to this “giant problem” is to just let the boat land and make no effort to stop or apprehend anyone? How does that help the “giant” problem again?

  2. Get ready Southern California- Now that there is an Administration change, this will be a regular occurrence -Who can blame them- FREE Medical, Food Debit Cards, FREE College Education- Sounds good to me!

  3. Coast, your info is all false. People who are not citizens and who do not have green cards are not eligible for any benefits unless you are talking about emergency room services where the government has mandated that ERs have to help but won’t be reimbursed. Is it really necessary for you to post false info to make your point that you are anti-immigration?

  4. Free medical? We were paying $20k/yr to Blue Shield for 2 healthy people. That was enough to drive us from a country that doesn’t realize it is 3rd world , to a 3rd world country that knows it and yet functions. Comparable health coverage here costs us 10% and while we pay for private care,no one is turned out into the street here. A friend had his hip replaced for no charge at all at the public hospital and is doing fine. Single payer works great here and one can have affordable private care too.

  5. JBBS, To answer your question, Uruguay is the country. The most expensive cost of living in Latin America, and infinitely more affordable, and less stressful, than SB. We so miss the SB of the 70’s. 80’s and the 90’s too. I never thought that we would leave, but webhad had enough, especially as “Middle- class Santa Barbara” became a contradiction in terms. We miss friends and family, but are far more free and happy here. We build what we want on the farm w/ no city of SB vampires involved. The downside? The farm next door has planted 20 acres of skunky bud, so now we find ourselves living in Carp. @ Lat 34º +South

  6. Coast, at least you backed away from free COLLEGE education. So yes, undocumented kids dragged here by their parents are provided a “free” elementary and high school education. Are you saying that we should punish a 5 -yr old for their parents’ crimes by keeping them illiterate and stupid? Property taxes pay for education, are you saying that those families live in dwellings that don’t have property taxes? Really I wish the people making these kinds of statements would actually have some facts behind their posts.
