The Santa Barbara Police Department is investigating a stabbing that took place during a fight in the 1300 block of Olive Street Tuesday.
The victim fled the scene to the 300 block of E. Victoria Street to a residence where 9-1-1 was called to assist with the serious injuries after 9:00 p.m. The victim, described as an 18-year-old male, was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Santa Barbara Police report five people were seen leaving the initial fight scene on Olive Street.
The investigation is ongoing and updates will be posted as soon as they’re available.
