Police Department Training

Community Notice

The Santa Barbara Police Department will engage in training from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. at the now unoccupied and under construction portion of Santa Barbara Junior High School located at 721 E Cota Street in Santa Barbara.

Several Police vehicles, apparatus, and personnel will be deployed for training purposes.

While the Police Department will maintain a visible low profile in that portion of the community, some constituents may become aware of training activity – this notice is to diminish potential concern.

Signage in the immediate area will notify passersby of the training activity. The training activity was made possible because of the close relationship between the City and the Santa Barbara Unified School District.
