Caltrans is alerting motorists of overnight construction that will take place on the San Marcos Pass Monday night through Friday morning.
The project will fix pavement along Highway 154 between Cold Spring Canyon Bridge and the San Antonio Creek Bridge. Traffic will be slowed and controls will be in place while crews are at work between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Additionally, the Highway 154 offramp to Highway 192 will be closed for paving on Thursday and Friday during the day.
The delays won’t last long but will create traffic backup, according to Caltrans which also encourages drivers to slow down through work zones.
The budget is $3.3 million for the entire project.
