Several times today, sheltered in place near 101@154, we heard a very low flying helicopter in the area. Edhat of course had some info on it, so we went back to daily chores. Later it passed close enough that I wanted more detail so I ran for a zoom camera. By the time I got back it was up in the hills, but zoom revealed a person in orange standing on the skid! When it came closer I got more pix, including as it slowly passed a couple of hundred feet overhead. These two guys were shooting pix of their own out the door of an MD 900, a cool 1990s machine with NOTAR (no tail rotor).
“OTOH LOW HELO” — That sounds like it should mean something in Chumash.
