One Injury in Santa Maria Shooting

SMPD seeking information related to a shooting in the 300 block of W. Newlove.

On November 5, at approximately 5:40pm, Officers responded to a shooting in the 300 block of W. Newlove.  As a result of the shooting, a 22-year-old male was treated at Marian Medical Center for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder.  Detectives are investigating the incident and encourage community members to contact SMPD at 805-928-3781 ext. 2277 with any relevant information.
