| On Monday 3/07/22 at approximately 1:30pm, Lompoc Officers responded to the 500 block of North L Street in regards to a shooting and located a 32-year-old male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by helicopter to a local hospital and later listed in stable condition. Lompoc High School was placed on lock down as a precaution but the shooting had no association with the school. The lockdown was lifted less than an hour later once any further threat was cleared.
