Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to an ATV collision off Glen Annie Road in Goleta on Tuesday.
At 12:14 p.m., crews arrived in the 700 block of Glen Annie Road and discovered an ATV carrying two passengers had crashed a vertical 30-feet into a creekbed, said Fire Captain Daniel Bertucelli.
One person sustained minor injuries and the other sustained critical injuries.
Firefighters used a high-angle rope system to retrieve the critical patient who had crashed 30 feet over the roadway. The male patient was extricated, packaged, and transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The patient’s condition is unknown at this time.
