We are filling out our ballots. On the ballot it says “Shall the City of Santa Barbara enact a one-cent sales tax…” Seems like it should read one percent. Was this a typo or done on purpose? Seems like it could be used in a lawsuit to stop implementation if it passes. The accompanying booklet says “The Measure would increase the City’s sales and use tax by 1%”
There is no sunset clause, so it goes on forever. I voted NO!
