Two subjects appeared distressed off Shoreline full city. Fire response with Harbor Patrol rescued them about 200 feet from shore.

Rescue Swimmers requested Ledbetter engine 71 to go atop Shoreline park for a visual… Switching to tac. 4 so I may not be able to hear what is going on.
The rescue might be possibly just East of Hendrys Beach R.P. Says best access Ledbetter..

Nothing seen from engines 75 vantage point sounds like Mesa Lane area.
Engine 71 Thousand Steps at Santa Cruz sees nothing they are looking for 2 teen aged surfers on long boards..

Sounds like everyone is responding to Ledbetter..
It is believed that the 2 teenagers are caught in a current and being carried out to sea further out then the rescuers have been searching…
I don’t have a Marine radio so if someone who does would like to report feel free to do so….COPTER 3 IS RESPONDING TO SB CITY, THE COAST GUARD HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND MAY ALSO BE SEARCHING FROM THE AIR..
