An object has been in the sky south of Goleta over the Lompoc area for over two weeks now.
It is rectangular with 4 to 6 lights on it. It does not move and we are wondering what it is. Anyone know?

Nothing of what the OP/Dave wrote makes any sense. At all. Perhaps he can try again.

Dave’s not here.
Did you try to “Signal them with my lighter “to see if they will land?
I used “brain power”.
Tesla roadster parked.
South of Goleta over the Lompoc area? That makes no sense.
The ocean is south of Goleta. Lompoc is WNW of Goleta.
What time are you seeing this?
Venus is quite bright in the west after sunset, along with Mars and the star Regulus, plus Mercury appearing just above the horizon in the last couple of days. But, of course, all of them seem to move and set as the Earth rotates. Their arrangement is not rectangular, however.
Come on Mac. Just a little bit west of the Equator. Probably a decoy the Federales put up to attract alien spaceships.
Are you sure it’s not west of the North Pole?
take a pic and post it please…
Ok. Constellation?
