Sections of roadway in Santa Barbara’s North County will be closed this week due to holiday parades.
State Route 1 and State Route 246 will close for the annual City of Lompoc Children’s Christmas Season parade on Friday, December 1 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
State Route 1 (H Street) will be closed to through traffic from North Avenue to State Route 246 (Ocean Avenue). State Route 246 (Ocean Avenue) will be closed to through traffic from J Street to F Street.
Part of State Route 135 in Santa Maria will be closed on Saturday, December 2 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the annual Parade of Lights.
State Route 135 (Broadway) will be closed to through traffic from Enos Drive north to State Route 166 (Main Street).
Signage will be in place notifying the public of these road closures.

my family and I , neighbors, coworkers, and friends sure do miss our annual Christmas Parade that goes from the Arlington to Cota Street. Oh yeah…we don’t get to enjoy that any longer. Thanks Santa Barbara City Council…. 🙁
