This past week a few new shows have topped the Top 10 Streaming Chart, courtesy of Reelgood.
Keri Russell’s newest policital drama series on Netflix, “The Diplomat,” has reached number one and will likely stay in the top ten for at least another week.
Russell’s last show where she played an undercover KGB agent in America during 80s in “The Americans” was fantastic. She nails it again playing a US ambassador to the United Kingdom while navigating her turbulent marriage to a rising political star.
The latest season of “Succession” on HBOMax is gaining a large audience, as expected. The horrible yet witty characters bathed in generational wealth continue to play chess with one another while trying to take over the family empire. I struggle watching this show as there’s not one character with any kind of redeeming qualities, but a lot of people are into it.
The final season of “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” is out on AmazonPrime and is always entertaining.
Below are the top ten shows and films for this past week:
What I’m Watching: “The Diplomat” on Netflix. I’ve been a huge fan of Kerri Russell since “Felicity” and love her choice of work. This show does not disappoint.
If you haven’t seen it yet, UNSTABLE with Rob Lowe and his son John Owen Lowe is definitely worth checking out. Netflix
I am too addicted to Outlander but will check this out one day.
Beef started out hilarious but slows down a bit. I thought it was going to be more back and forth revenge, but it gets a little sad and deep. That’s fine, just thought it was going to be something else.
