Back when the “Flying A” was making movies all over our city, they often did not give any notice to the public or the authorities.
The attitude seemed to be “No permits; no problem!” As you might expect, this sometimes led to misunderstandings. Not sure if the local cops ever ignored real crimes, but it might have happened.
