Please post this for parents of young kids and pet owners. A mountain lion was seen in the Arroyo Burrow Creek near the Douglas Preserve.
A friend spoke to the park ranger who confirmed it. The adult male lion was last seen under the bridge towards the Oak Grove Trail. Everyone be aware!
Mountain lions aren’t especially dangerous to people SZQ. Hopefully you’re not implying that. These top predators have a significant role in their ecosystems. Losing sheep to them where you’re living shouldn’t be surprising. You’re in the wilderness, which is great, but it comes at a cost if you want to have a flock.
