Around 6:30 p.m. Monday I spotted a mountain lion on Las Alturas in the 1000 block.

  1. I love it when the Mountain Lion deniers come out of the woodwork and tell everyone that the person actually saw a bobcat. I’ve seen a mountain lion on APS years back.

  5. Without a photo no one is going to know for sure if it was a mountain lion or a bobcat. Bobcats are definitely much more common in that area. Having a pic would go a long way to reducing the number of bobcat vs mountain lion conversations. For now I am sensing it was a BC, and not a ML.
