A motorcyclist triggered a messy chain-reaction crash on the 14 freeway in Santa Clarita on Wednesday after clipping the back end of a sedan in the carpool lane, reports The Los Angeles Times.
Video captured by a motorist depicted a motorcyclist kicking a sedan which then veered into the freeway divider before losing control, cutting into traffic, and causing a truck to rollover.
The motorcyclist continued to ride off without stopping. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident a hit and run and they’re now searching for the motorcyclist.
The driver of the sedan was uninjured and the driver of the truck suffered non-life threatening injuries.
