Missing Santa Barbara Juvenile Found Safe

UPDATE: (3:15 P.M.) Juvenile found safe and unharmed. Because the individual is a minor / confidentiality – no additional information will be released. The Santa Barbara Police Department thanks the public for their assistance.

The Santa Barbara Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating an 11-year-old missing juvenile, Joey Meraz.

Meraz is approximately 5’2, 85 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. Meraz is known to frequent Orpet Park, Mackenzie Park and the downtown area/State Street.

If anyone has any information regarding Meraz’ whereabouts, please call Detective Claytor (805) 897-2340.
