Saw them cut across the range from Montecito to Goleta. They were way, way too low. Had to be within a few hundred feet of a dozen or so hang gliders / paraglider flying down from Gibraltar. Cant imagine what those guys were thinking seeing two large, fast prop planes coming right at them.
The lower the better, I love seeing them. And I’m sure some paragliders can chime in but they are communicating with air traffic controllers to let them know where they are flying and air traffic avoids that area.
I LOVE seeing our military planes flying, especially low…! Had a squadron of Osprey flying by this week too! The sight of FREEDOM and our young military pilots training…
The sight of freedom? Tell that to the people of Central America, Vietnam, Africa and the Middle East. American Imperialism is the purpose of our worldwide military. We can defend our national freedom without spending more on the military than all the rest of the world combined.
