Looks like military aircraft including a KC-135 Stratotanker from Gilroy, EA-18 Growler, Beech 300 Super King from Hueneme, Beech C-12 from Santa Maria , and helicopters are having large exercises off Vandenberg and San Miguel Island.

Noticed that a year or two ago. Ospreys almost every day. Tankers all the time. If you watch the adsb exchance site, you can see all kinds of crazy training in the channel, refuels, search and rescues, fighter jets, etc.

With regards to your question, it seems every person I’ve talked to who is aligned with the left thinks the aliens are coming. Anyone not so aligned says the testimony speaks to advances in military craft.
Perhaps you should seek out some intelligent conversations.

tankers are likely in support for what appears to be for refueling of fighters for air-to-air training off SD coast including some Kfir and Hawker hunters from ATAC.
Also, Summer and with likely very clear skies I will just think, normal training with good conditions. I check ADS-B almost daily, pick any day, and it can be different trainings. Last week was E-3 Sentry with E-2C hawkeye (one up there right now) and P-8 Poseidon.
Practice, practice, practice…
