Migrating Flocks of Birds?

By an edhat reader

I live in Ventura near the Pacific View Mall and for the last hour or so (8:30 – 9:30 pm, Thursday) approximately 42 what sound like flocks of some type of white birds have flown overhead in the shape of a V.

These unidentified flying objects seem to be flying from the Santa Barbara area continuing through Ventura then towards Oxnard. What’s strange is my fiance and I can hear them however, they do not exactly fly or look like birds. For example, they are moving extremely fast, too fast to even catch on film. In addition, they don’t appear to have flapping wings. Basically, they look odd and a bit creepy.

Also, I should point out that our vision has been getting progressively worse due to a rapidly developing “fog”. In addition, what’s even more strange is there are a curiously large amount of air crafts passing by tonight, more so then normal. My fiance is a professional photographer so we are always looking up. He tried to take some photos in which we are about to go through them and see if any show an image of these “birds?”

I will post back in a bit with an update and hopefully with some photos. If anyone else has seen, heard, or is aware of any flocks of birds migrating or instead has knowledge of something else happening in regards to these flying objects then please comment, reply, or post in response to my post. Thank you!
