When a shiny silver flying saucer lands in the Nevada desert, a group of skull-faced Martians emerges and promptly vaporizes a gathering of unfortunate Earthlings, kicking off a bizarre high-tech war with wild special effects. This sci-fi spoof features an all-star cast including Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Rod Steiger, Sarah Jessica Parker, Annette Bening and Tom Jones. This is the one I was waiting for (have it on DVD as well), hoping to “Cheer” at all the appropriate spots!
Not trying to give away too much, but basically heads explode & the world is saved by EXTREMELY LOUD (what some would call) music!
…there’s also plenty of Tom Jones for those that are into that kind of thing.
