March for Women’s Rights Scheduled for Saturday

The annual Women’s March rally is scheduled for Saturday, 20 at De La Guerra Plaza in downtown Santa Barbara.

The eighth annual event plans to “gather in solidarity as we take a stand against assaults on women’s rights and democracy, rain or shine,” according to organizers.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a vigil and rally at De la Guerra Plaza followed by a march through downtown Santa Barbara.

Speakers from Planned Parenthood, Moms Demand Action, and Standing Together to End Sexual Assault (STESA) are planned as well as former State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson.
