Mango Tree Tips

I wanted to update readers on my mango tree efforts. It worked! On my very first try using a red mango pit, this little guy sprouted and has been growing ever since. I don’t expect fruit but I’m happy to have a new house plant. Thanks to all for helping.

Hi all. I love mangos and recently heard you can grow a tree from the seed. But, will it do well in Santa Barbara? 

Also, any tips on how to keep it healthy and growing? Curious if anyone has done this before in this area.
